Ft. Sumner New Mexico native, Candy Jo Webb, recently signed a Letter of Intent to play volleyball with the Mustangs for the 2012 season.

Webb, 5'9" Middle Hitter, was a top athlete for the Ft. Sumner Vixens. Webb has been a three time, three year in a row recipient of First Team All-District as well as First Team All-State honors. Webb has also been picked to play in the New Mexico High School Coaches Association North-South All-Star Match. Webb tallied a per game average of 7.7 kills, 2.5 blocks, 6.3 digs, and 1.4 aces for her senior year.

"I'm very excited to have Candy Jo as part of our team" said Mustang Head Coach, Sonya Petroski. "Candy Jo is a great athlete and a hard worker; she's going to fit into our program nicely." The USW coach went on to say that she plans to have Webb at the Right Side position for the 2012 season.
