The USW Track and Field team placed 18th overall in the David Nobel/Angelo State (ASU) Relays.

The Mustangs had two place in the top 15 in two different events. Mustang Sophomore Zackery Garcia, placed 14^th in the 800 meter run. Garcia, from Raleigh, NC, also competed in the 1500 meter where he placed 16^th. Alex Jackson, freshman from Hobbs, also ran in the 1500 meter race where he placed 14^th. Jackson also ran in the 5000 meter race.
