[Volleyball] Holsapple Signs with Mustang Volleyball

Hobbs, NM - Karina Holsapple signed to play with the Mustangs for the 2013 season. Holsapple will be an incoming freshman to USW from Santa Theresa High School (NM). Holsapple, 5'6" setter, has been a two year varsity starter for the Santa Theresa Warriors.

Hobbs, NM - Mustang Volleyball received another commitment for the 2013 season as Caitlin Fellers, from Glen Rose Texas, signed a letter of intent to play for USW. Fellers is a 5'10" Outside Hitter and will be a 2013 graduate from Glen Rose High School (TX).

Hobbs, NM – The University of the Southwest Volleyball program has inked its first 2013 Mustang as Safford, Arizona native, Shaysea Alba, signed a Letter of Intent to join the USW Volleyball program.

Fort Worth, TX – Five Lady Mustangs were named to the Red River Athletic Conference All-Conference team and three to the All-Academic Team. USW was the only non-post season team that had this amount of student-athletes recognized by post season honors.

Langston, OK – The Lady Mustangs ended the 2012 season on the road in Oklahoma. The Mustangs finished the season 9-23 and 4-7 in the Red River Athletic Conference. The two year program ended with five more wins than the 2011 campaign.

Hobbs, NM – Lady Mustang Volleyball walked into the gym facing a seven match losing streak. As the match started it looked as if that streak was going to continue when they fell in the first set to Sul Ross State University Lobos 20-25.
